Puppy and Kitten Care

Congratulations on adding a new member to your family. We look forward to meeting them. Our veterinarians and health team members are eager to help assist you with getting them started on their journey to a healthy life. It is important to have your new puppy or kitten examined by a veterinarian to ensure they are healthy. Our veterinarians will make sure they are receiving the proper protection they need through immunizations, parasite protection and nutrition. Taking these steps will give them the best start to a healthy start in life.
What to expect on the initial visit:

  • Comprehensive physical exam
  • Intestinal parasite deworming
  • Recommendations for external parasite treatment
  • Immunization based on your pet’s lifestyle
  • Behaviour and housetraining/litter-training recommendations
  • Nutritional counselling
  • Discussion on pet insurance

For your puppy or kittens’ first visit to us, we request that you bring the following:

  • All paperwork pertaining to the previous care of your puppy or kitten including all previous immunizations, deworming, medications and any veterinary medical records.
  • Any questions you may have regarding your puppy or kittens’ health.
