DVM
Full-Time Mixed-Animal Veterinarian, Rocky Rapids Veterinary Service, Drayton Valley, Alberta

We are looking for a veterinarian with a focus on large animal medicine, able to provide exceptional patient care and client services in rural community practice. Our current veterinarian is expanding her small animal and small ruminant services, thereby creating opportunities for additional veterinary care for our bovine and equine clients.

The team at Rocky Rapids Veterinary Service is top-notch, experienced, providing a high level of care to their patients and clients, led by a clinic manager who knows the power of “team.” Dr. Leisa Floreani is an excellent mentor with strong communication skills, committed to providing individual mentorship to the right candidate. If you are looking for a close-knit, high-performing team, stop here and contact us directly. We are waiting to hear from you!

Worried about on-call? We are leading the way in after-hours solutions by using AnimalHealth Link, a TeleTriage system that utilizes a team of experienced RVT’s. That’s right—your after-hour calls will be triaged by RVT’s so that when you get a call, it’s only because emergency veterinary care is urgently needed. You’ll be given accurate signalment, history, and on-call fees will have already been discussed.

Signing incentives, competitive wages, benefits, fair call rotations, continuing education, and professional dues benefits are all part of the extensive compensation package.
